Like all little boys, Bruno began to explore his new enviroment which he is to live in now. He comes upon a fence and finds this other young boy whom is wearing no shoes, striped pajamas and a cloth cap. Then Bruno also notices that the boy has a armband with a star on it. Bruno becomes his friend fast, Shmuel, and whilie talking they soon discover that they have the exact same birthday. Each day Bruno would try to go and visit Shmuel without anyone knowing. Bringing him food and talking to him Bruno finds himself more and more each day. Risking his life every day Bruno continues to visit Shmuel every day. They become more than friends. And one day the boy in the striped pajamas was not on the other side of the fence.
I enjoyed reading this book and it has taught me more than i thought i would ever get out of my life. But I have realized much more to life then just breathing and having fun, but also to live life like there is no tomorrow because you never know what will happen within a few seconds.

Night

Night by Elie Wiesel

A young teenage name Elie Wiesel taking away from his home in 1944 with his family to go live in a concentration camp, far far away from anyone he knew. "Night" became a very terrifying word, brought on horrible memories of the  death of his family, death of innocence, and his despair as a deeply observant Jew. Absolute evil of man. Living in a concentration camp, meeting his wife, and getting a translator changed his life. Giving a testimony to what happened in the camps and of his forgettable message that his horror must never be allowed to happen again in his life. Having his life taking away from him and being controlled among someone else changed his life in many ways. This is a book that makes you have different outlooks on life, well it did to me anyways, read it and find out if it changes your outlook in your life.

Anthem

Anthem By: Ayn Rand

Anthem is written as a dairy, a young man living in a future in which nobody knows anything of individualism, they do not know the words "I" or "mine". They all live as if they are one big family not knowing how it feels to be knows as one. He is taking on this journey and discovers a discovery that leads him to know it all. People are named my numbers. But they also have many names of their own. Before living in the mountains they lived in the city, but they no longer lived there cause they all was to be moved. This book keeps you up on your toes and kinda confused through the whole summary telling. Kinda confusing on who is it talking about but very interesting the way it is set up.

Book Review #1- A Child Called It

A Child Called It   By: Dave Pelzer

This book is based on one child's courage to survive in a house where his world is different and crazier each and every day. Life for Dave was all great until one day everything just turned around and mother did not seem to care much for him as she did for the others. Dave being the target of everything that happens in the house, mother never seemed to get on to the other boys as much as him. Whenever father was home Dave would become his right arm and be everywhere he was because mother never seemed to mess with him. During the days was always worst than at night, days father worked, so mother would drink and beat me with a few other things added.
I believe many people should read this book and see if Dave makes it out okay and how he turned his life around. Reading it may also teach you some lessons and help you learn different outcomes.

My Topic- HIGH SCHOOL LOVE

Hugs. Kisses. Loving. Holding. We are teens we love to have a relationship with someone in high school. Whether its just a little love bug crush or a high school sweetheart, we love the attention. Well I member when we was in junior high people would always have a different crush each and every week. Now that we are in high school its like your getting mature and really starting to look for that special one in your life.
Having a relationship in high school makes you feel like your apart of the crowd and involved with everything. But its not as great as it seems if your only doing it too look cool or whatever you wanna be. I believe that teens are getting to caught up in "love." I mean we have teens that are just in relationships to just have someone too call them theirs, which is for the wrong reasons.
High school romance makes me laugh. Like I mean yeah some people do find their love ones in high school, but not everyone is like that. You just gotta give it time and let that person fall into your arms or you fall into their arms. Patience means everything when it comes to a relationship in high school. Don't jump into just anybodies arms, cause you will end up falling and it might be a long hard one.

Cause/Effect- Suicides

Suicides- killing yourself on without it being an accident.

Causes of suicides:                                                        Effects of suicides:
depression                                                                   guilt
sadness                                                                       anger
loneliness                                                                    disappointed
abuse                                                                         confusion
stress                                                                          reaction/chain
ect.                                                                            ect.

Suicides are caused by a failure of talking to someone who will listen to you, not feeling like anybody cares.
This can be effected with guilt of doing something and thinking that you can't live with yourself anymore because you feel so disappointed in what you have done.
Many teens have committed suicide cause of other students in their school or the lack of attention from a guardian. There have also been adults we have killed themselves because of the same outcomes as if it was a teens life.
My thoughts on suicide is if you know someone who has been talking about doing this than find help for them. Suicidal can be 110% preventable.

2011 Theme Word- Unique

New year means new memories, new pictures and most of all new ways of accomplishing your goal of the year. My word of the year is UNIQUE. I am wanting to be more into all of my ways of working and reaching my goals that I have set for myself, but I want to do it in such a way that i'll remember it forever and always. Unique is a way of being different from everyone else.
Making goals that are higher than normal and reaching them in such a amazing way that people did not see me reaching them in. Being a big surprise to every ones faces.
Unique is my word theme of 2011 because I am wanting to doing things that people never thought I could do but also do it in a way that they wont forget.

Christmas Break 2010

Christmas is always a great way to end the year. So wonderful to get off of school for a few weeks, not worrying about drama or anything. Getting to sleep in late, hanging with friends and the late parties. Yeah sounds like a wonderful way to spend a christmas break.

I love spending time with all of my friends and family. Even through we did not get any snow for christmas it was still a great year. Giving and getting gifts is one of my favorite parts, plus the christmas movies that come on ABC family "25 Days of Christmas". Love it!

This was one of the greatest christmas breaks ever, I enjoyed spending time with just the family and then of course I enjoyed time away from the family and just with my best friends. Hanging and having a wonderful time. Christmas is always the time of year I love the most because of all the new things I end up getting.C

Christmas of 2010 was amazing, I enjoyed every second of it. Spending a day with my family not having anything to worry about. Just family, laughing, wii, and different kinds of activity going on was wonderful. That is how I spent my christmas break and what I enjoyed about it the most.
