Nazi Germany, a young boy names Bruno whom is 9 years old lives with his family in their lovely home, until one day they had to move to an unfamiliar place called "Out-With." Like all little boys, Bruno began to explore his new enviroment which he is to live in now. He comes upon a fence and finds this other young boy whom is wearing no shoes, striped pajamas and a cloth cap. Then Bruno also notices that the boy has a armband with a star on it. Bruno becomes his friend fast, Shmuel, and whilie talking they soon discover that they have the exact same birthday. Each day Bruno would try to go and visit Shmuel without anyone knowing. Bringing him food and talking to him Bruno finds himself more and more each day. Risking his life every day Bruno continues to visit Shmuel every day. They become more than friends. And one day the boy in the striped pajamas was not on the other side of the fence.
I enjoyed reading this book and it has taught me more than i thought i would ever get out of my life. But I have realized much more to life then just breathing and having fun, but also to live life like there is no tomorrow because you never know what will happen within a few seconds.

Night

Night by Elie Wiesel

A young teenage name Elie Wiesel taking away from his home in 1944 with his family to go live in a concentration camp, far far away from anyone he knew. "Night" became a very terrifying word, brought on horrible memories of the  death of his family, death of innocence, and his despair as a deeply observant Jew. Absolute evil of man. Living in a concentration camp, meeting his wife, and getting a translator changed his life. Giving a testimony to what happened in the camps and of his forgettable message that his horror must never be allowed to happen again in his life. Having his life taking away from him and being controlled among someone else changed his life in many ways. This is a book that makes you have different outlooks on life, well it did to me anyways, read it and find out if it changes your outlook in your life.
